See, that’s a trick question: IT’S NEVER *SAFE* TO CHECK OUT THE DATA LAYER!

Maybe a company advertising that they use SourceSafe is like a professional web developer gloating that they use nothing but Notepad (or VI) to develop their sites? “We use crap tools, but yet we still manage to develop code?”

I’m still trying to think of a reason why someone would advertise and be proud of the fact that they chose SourceSafe.. be sure and ask them on Monday wtf they were thinking there!

After all my prior painful divorces from SourceSafe I think I’d find it difficult to take her back again. After all she’s done to me – the code she’s deleted, the merges she’s messed up, the other developers she’s screwed around with. No… It’s all too much…

D’oh! I spent a good deal of time making sure I got ‘penguin’ right when registering the domain, writing posts, etc. But unfortunately I had one too many Baileys when doing up the logo at 2 in the morning…

As for the “I guess you get what you pay for!” all I can say is enjoy SourceSafe!

It’s a shame that Inkscape doesn’t have a spellchecker built into it, or you might have spotted the spelling “Pengiun” in your image!

Aaah well, I guess you get what you pay for!
